I want to thank all of you for your good AND bad words. They are all encouraging.
I sit here in the middle of a sand storm hoping to spend a couple hours, or day at the most, with my little brother in Kuwait before I too go north into the battle. I believe in my cause and willingly fight for ALL that America stands for; including free speech so that some idiot can say what he does about soldiers, the war or our president.
There are many things I believe in and many I don't and we all enjoy the same freedoms to express our opinions because of men and women who have volunteered to serve the greatest nation on earth! I am proud to be one who answered the call. I fight to keep this battle in their backyard so I don't have to fight it in ours.

Sleep Well
May you find comfort and sleep well tonight, for my brothers and I stand guard in your defense. We have left all we know and love and taken the fight to the devil's door. As did our brothers before us, we have all sworn an oath to defend you and yours and if required, give our lives for your safety and the American way of life.
We do not take this oath lightly and pray that you do not either. Never forget the freedoms we have came at a great price. Battlefields all over the world are stained with the blood of men and women who answered the call.
Make no mistake, I prefer not to die for my country, but if necessary I will. I do not fear death for I find peace and faith in God's plan. Live each day as if it is your last and never wish you had "one more chance" to let someone know you love them.
